Overview & Highlights

Welcome to Pizza Nat, a hidden gem nestled in the charming streets of Valencay, France. Located at 24 Rue de la Republique, this delightful restaurant goes beyond its inviting name, showcasing a unique blend of traditional dishes and local flavors that truly captivates the senses.

From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted with a warm smile from the friendly staff, who embody the welcoming spirit of this family-run establishment. Customers rave about the charming atmosphere and the genuine hospitality they receive, as noted by Kevin Charles, who appreciated the amiable management even during a late visit.

While the name Pizza Nat might suggest a focus on pizza, the menu is a delightful surprise. Patrons have discovered a wonderful selection of hearty dishes, such as the confit de canard with homemade fries, celebrated by Danielle Simonneau for its flavor and freshness. The incorporation of local produce, notably the tomatoes and Valençay cheese, adds a regional twist that elevates each dish.

Not to be outdone, the homemade pizza stands as a testament to the culinary passion of the chef. As Manuella Pacheco notes, the love put into every ingredient is palpable, particularly in the homemade dough—a true hallmark of quality. The plat du jour often showcases comforting classics like the paleron mijoté, and it’s clear from feedback that diners appreciate the generous portions and excellent value that come with each meal.

Each visit also seems to come with a sweet ending. The dessert offerings, like the delightful pêches de vigne served atop vanilla ice cream with a touch of honey, leave guests enchanted and wanting more. This attention to detail and commitment to homemade quality resonates deeply with food lovers who value great taste and authenticity.

Pizza Nat isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary experience that brings the essence of French cuisine to life. As noted by Alfred H, even non-pizza lovers are sure to leave with full hearts (and stomachs) after enjoying the generous and delicious offerings available. Whether you find yourself wandering near the stunning Château de Valencay or just looking for a cozy place to enjoy a satisfying meal, Pizza Nat is a must-visit.

In conclusion, if you’re seeking a delightful dining experience in a friendly, cozy setting, look no further than Pizza Nat. With its excellent range of dishes crafted from local ingredients, every visit feels like a celebration of taste and hospitality. Your palate will thank you!

Visiting the Valencay Chateau on a Thursday in May, we had lunch before in this small restaurant, a little bit outside the castle entrance. Despite its large "Pizza" sign, it's not just a pizzeria, it also serves an excellent Plat du Jour (not necessarily Italy-related) for a very attractive price. And it was delicious and generous. What else does one want ?

Qualité prix excellent, menu 20 euros plat salade fromage dessert 20 euros

Table en extérieur agréable, service rapide.
